Method 1
Hold down the Option key and right-click its icon in the Dock to reveal a Force Quit action in the menu.
Method 2
You can find the Apple logo by tapping on the menu bar.
Select “Force quit” option.
You can then press Command + Option + Escape all at once.
If the app or process has files open, force it to quit. This may cause you to lose data.
