Bitdefender is a great software. It provides a lot of benefits along with anti-virus protection.But at times, it can be a little bit too good at its job .
Though turning off the antivirus is not always recommended, you might need to disable it temporarily or even turn it off for a brief moment to install a program.
You can search for it from the Start Menu and click on the ‘Bitdefender’ tile .
Click on the ‘Protection’ button from the left side to proceed.Click on the ‘Open’ button on the ‘Antivirus’ tile.
Next, clicks on the ‘Advanced’ button and ‘Bitdefender Shield’ switch to turn it off.
Then, select the duration for which you wish to disable the antivirus.You can press the ‘OK’ button to confirm.
